Flyte gets an extra half star because of how stunningly gorgeous the ending is, but compared to Magyk, it’s really not much to write home about. My favorite part was certainly the portrayal of the bond between Jenna and Septimus, as well as seeing how Sep has settled into his new life as Marcia’s Apprentice. And though this one is important for some plot stuff, I’m more excited for the future volumes when things get more interesting.
