This book surprised me in the best way. I was expecting a bloody werewolf romp with '80s horror vibes and sure, I got that. But When the Wolf Comes Home delivers so much more. It's action-packed and heart-pounding, with plenty of gore and genuine scares. But what really got me was the emotional core and the twists that completely reframe everything you think you know about the story. It turns into something far more existential and unsettling than expected. That ending? Intense. Go in blind for this one.
Graphic: Body horror, Child abuse, Gore
Moderate: Child death, Death of parent
