Any Way the Wind Blows by Rainbow Rowell
2.0
I enjoyed Carry On because it was so silly and amusing, but this book feels really pointless.
Why is Simon Snow seem to always be "in heat"? What's with all the face-biting? He's not even the vampire in the relationship. That's so weird. And then, they're supposed to be talking about feelings but suddenly, they're eating each other's face again! And, the tail rubbing is really off-putting, tbh.
Finally, the supposedly big reveal about Simon's identity, like, who doesn't know that? I knew that from book 1.
I wonder why Penelope is suddenly annoying. I remember liking her.
I didn't care at all about Shepard.
The characters I loved before became really infuriating.
Why did I even buy this?
