This is the only good Second Chance romance I've ever read, and it's better than good. This is the very best of the romance genre. I've probably read 50 other bestselling romance books this year (and hundreds over the years), and nothing's come close to this. Stop reading this awkward review and buy this book. Or go read Talia Hibbett's review and pretend I wrote this as eloquently and thoroughly as she did. The thoughtful portrayal of invisibile disability! The generational curses/trauma! The richhhhhh Creole family history! Audre and everything about her! The Romeo and Juliet reference! THAT scene in the art installation (yeowww)! The perfect ending! Go now. Go.
