I was not overly impressed by this version of Alice in Wonderland. However, I wonder if we will ever meet an Alice in the next books. The character of the queen of hearts could definitely have been more deeply rooted. She seems to have a shallow look on life, and while there are many moments we see her leaning towards good, I just didn’t get a lot of satisfaction from her overall character, or any of the characters to be honest. The one character that I had little intrigue for was Vittiore, and even she is limited with the interactions we have of her within the book. I hope the author expanded on the characters and scenes in the next book, as I found this to be somewhat boring in many of the scenes.
