Nine Liars
by Maureen Johnson
The actual murder mystery was very good and I didn't see the ending coming, but the rest of the book was quite boring and seemed to drag. Stevie and David's relationship took up so much of the book and eventually lead nowhere. Most of the book was very slow paced and then the end just rushed in and the book was done.
Having so many main characters didn't help the book either. Nate's coming out seemed very out of the blue and the other 'side plots' didn't seem to be that informative.
To be fair, this is the first book I've read out of the series, so maybe the side plots are more built up in the previous books.
