A Mother's Reckoning: Living in the Aftermath of Tragedy
by Sue Klebold
wenty years ago, On April 20, 1999, Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold walked into Columbine High School in Littleton, Colorado. Over the course of minutes, they would kill twelve students and a teacher and wound twenty-four others before taking their own lives.
A Mother's Reckoning is told from the prespective of Dylan's mother. A perspective you don't normally hear. It was a very insightful read that really made me think and open my eyes to several things I didn't realize and that I think people over look or judge based on what her son did. It was a really eye opening book filled with grief, sorrow, compassion, shedding light into some major issues in society.
