I love the world K.M. Neuhold has created here with both Four Bear Constructions and now our sexy mechanics in Big Bull Mechanics! Stroker had all the Neuhold trademarks: witty characters and a lot of banter, funny moments mixed in with a lot of steamy ones!
I’ve been looking forward to Tallahassee’s story ever since he first appeared in “Stripped” - and it didn’t disappoint! His and Gates’ story was messy and bumpy and I loved it! They had crazy chemistry and I really liked the whole secretly married trope here. I loved Tal’s character, he was so patient and mature, especially when he thought back on his and Gates’ relationship in the past.
I struggled with Gates’ character in the beginning, he was so immature and such a man child, and I didn’t understand how Tal could stand living with him. Once the pranks stopped and Gates actually tried another approach I could see a different and more likeable side of him. They were great together and I wouldn’t have minded seeing some more of them once they stopped hiding their relationship.
The books and the series work fine on their own, but I really recommend reading the Four Bears Construction series before going into this series - it will add a lot to the experience!
