Book 65 of 2024 finished 21/5/22 ⭐️⭐️💫
Anna is a cardio thoracic surgeon and is now facing an impossible choice. Her son has been abducted and if she wants to save his life she must end the life of the patient on her operating table.
She must break the Hippocratic oath and get away with murder or she will never see her son again.
My thoughts: I expected this to be more nerve wracking than it was. There were lots of plot holes and the whole story just wasn’t very realistic. I finished the book because I wanted to see what happened to Anna’s son but in hindsight I wish I had just skipped to the end.
The book started so well but with no likeable characters and unexplained plot holes the book didn’t live up to expectations unfortunately.
