In a Jam by Kate Canterbary

5.0

Daddy Bread Baker!! Can I just stop with that? I mean the man makes jam, bread, is now a Dad to his niece and is a boss in bed…

Fake Marriage but he has been in love with her since High school and just throws out marriage like it's nothing when she needs it for your tulip farm. Noah is a dreamboat of a book boyfriend - like the man who is crazy for his jam inventions - starting a new business- bread- makes a homemade cake for her- creates a family for Shay. Kate does a wonderful job of making this real life - Shay’s friends, body shaming with Noah’s past, the joys of small town, figuring out love, and their pasts.

Kate does an amazing job with the setting of the farms, football games, fairs, and farmer’s markets. Loved all the animals as well. Along with the small town feels and crazy people you get– I felt like I was home just switching out the fruits for corn. Also the niece (Gennie) is so funny and real that is a huge added bonus with this one.
