not gonna lie this was mid! for something that I've seen flexed in the community as being super real and subversive concerning the idol industry it doesn't sit well that most of the jokes in this are about the adult man who lusted after a 16yo idol getting reborn as said idol's child and still having a... fixation with her.
honestly i think all the praise for this series is based around the twist which im sure was shocking to many but alas, i knew the twist going in so i just saw it for what it was, a cheap way to move the story along. since i have seen no praise for this series that goes beyond the twist, i think that may be the best thing the series has to offer and it wasn't that great to begin with so that's cool!
i think i will keep reading because i might as well but i can't say i'm expecting much
