Snappsy the Alligator and His Best Friend Forever by Tim Miller, Julie Falatko

4.0

The funny-unreliable narrator (funreliable narrator?) feature so beloved in the first book continues here, where the narrator's voice is a clingy and enthusiastic chicken, who is determined to make Snappsy realize that he is his BEST FRIEND. Though their tastes and personalities clash, Snappsy ultimately realizes on his own, in a quiet break from both the chicken and narrator, that he does want a friend - while still setting boundaries.
