As a middle aged married woman this book resonated with me in a lot of ways. The way our dreams change to our family and we lose sight of ourselves. The difference between happiness and fulfillment. But also the story of the apothecary and how the woman turning her anger on the mistress instead of her husband was the ultimate reason for everything falling apart.
