This is my favorite book in this series! Both MCs were just so relatable, and while I expected that with Ambrose (I am also a walking ball of anxiety who relies on my dogs), and I was pleasantly surprised with how real Harley was and how I was completely able to see myself in some of his thoughts/actions. So it ended up being a very sweet, fairly low angst (except in the beginning but it's not relationship angst), just thoroughly enjoyable read. And honestly, the steamy scenes were some of the best I've ever read. I'm a chronic scanner of the more spicy scenes, but these also felt so emotional and showed how truly deep the connection between these two was. A win in my book from start to finish, and I'm so glad we're getting more in the series.
