To say I was sucked into this story is an understatement, we continue on right where “Stroke of Midnight” leaves us and it’s like I read it yesterday.
K. Webster writes such complex characters and story lines that you won’t know what to feel. I mean Winston Constantine really is not a good man, and yet she gives him so many layers that you are never sure if you are supposed to like him or hate him.
All I know is that I was not ready for this story to end and I can’t wait for what comes next! Be reminded that this book is filled with some possibly triggering steamy moments and that it ends with a cliffhanger but neither take anything away from it.
You must read “Stroke of Midnight” first but again that’s no chore as K. Webster is so good at what she does you will love every minute of this ongoing story!
