Dochter van de jungle by Sabine Kuegler

adventurous inspiring medium-paced

3.25

Written in a quite simplistic way, but that makes sense, as with living in the jungle life is quite simplistic. It was very interesting to see missionaries portrayed in a way that was actually helpful to the local population and they respected the local rules and autonomy. I learned so much about the lives of the Fayu people and also about the dangerous elements of the jungle.

I wish the book would talk more about Sabines readjustment to life in Germany cause that part felt very rushed over but I think this book has sequels.
