Lean Mean Thirteen by Janet Evanovich
3.0

Stephanie Plum has to be the most inept bounty hunter … or apprehension agent … that ever worked in Trenton (or anywhere). But she’s entertaining. First are the loony skips she goes after and the trouble she has taking them in. In this book she’s after Simon Diggery (grave robber and tax specialist), Carl Coglin (amateur taxidermist who specializes in exploding rodents), and Stewart Hansen (whose house Stephanie and Lula set fire to, causing a “happy” fire when the smoke from all the weed he had stored inside burns up). But those are just side shows. The REAL story is her ex-husband Dickie Orr and his law partners. Of course we have the usual tension between Stephanie and the two men in her life – Ranger and Morelli.

The audio book is narrated by Lorelei King. She does a fine job, giving life to every character. I especially like her interpretation of Grandma Mazur and Joyce Barnhardt.
