• Imo the relationship development between Mina and Shin was kinda rushed.
• I thought there would be more background story about Kirin, but it’s just superficial 
• Sometimes Mina was so stubborn

After all it’s such an interesting story and I enjoyed reading this book tho. It reminded me a lot of Spirited Away. The Sea God’s city must be exquisite.

My favorite character is Namgi 🫶🏻

I’m afraid of a lot of things, but not the darkness. I can see in the dark, you know. That must be why. Really, I don’t need this torch, but you do, so I’ll hold it for you. Sometimes I can be thoughtless. And I like to tease. But you can depend upon me.
