Stop Calling Me Beautiful: Finding Soul-Deep Strength in a Skin-Deep World
by Phylicia Masonheimer
This book was pretty good, just not one of my favorite spiritual books I’ve read this year. I think Phylicia had a lot of great things to say and a lot of wisdom to impart. I think that I personally haven’t been caught up in the “you’re so beautiful and loved” fluffy women’s conference theology, so I don’t think I got as much out of this book. But I believe any woman who has soaked up a lot of the fluffy kind of teaching would find this book to be eye opening.
