This is such a groundbreaking book, in more ways than one. Having a book that centers around a nonbinary character and being nonbinary is so important. I loved Ben so much. I also have an anxiety disorder, and I feel like Ben's experience captures it extremely well. Because having anxiety is not just panic attacks, it's also small things.
I hated Ben's parents so so much. Loathed them.  By the end I was ready to throw hands with them myself. I do think it's an important thing to write about. This whole book was very groundbreaking.
