A tragic story about inescapable heartbreak.
The beginning was a bit slow paced, but the more I read the more I became intrigued. The writing style is lyrical and beautiful.  It's almost written like a memoir. Phillipe Besson portrayed queerness and shame, and queer yearning quite well.
