The Initiation, Volume 1

The Initiation. .

A big thank you to the author for mailing this review copy. .

Imagine living in a parallel world where humans are categorised into three sections based on occupation. Now picture yourself bound within the walls of a city where you don’t have access to even the basic amenities. A world where the higher authorities are unjust towards others. Would you be okay with losing your freedom?
.
.
This story revolves around the life of Drayden, a shy teenager who’s a genius but walks around invisible within the school premises. When his mother is exiled by the authorities, he decides to take part in the greatest game that would give him access to information about his mother. The plot is very well written and executed by the author and he has nailed all the emotions that a human knows and feels.

.
The characters are described with ease and each of them are significant in their own way. I literally finished this novel in just three and a half hours, being completely engrossed in it. It takes you to a different world and it’s a delightful experience! .
.
I would rate this book 5/5.
