Give. Me. More!
The Saint is a prequel to the Executioners of Malice trilogy. If you read Run For Me from the Striptease anthology then you’re familiar with parts of this story. It has been rewritten and expanded into this steamy glimpse at what we can expect from the upcoming books. Which I for one am even more excited about after reading this new version!
Gianna has fled her home and been in hiding from her stepfather for the last 4 years. She decides to join the auction being held at the strip club she works at where she will be purchased for one night by someone in the crowd. The prize she’s offering? Her virginity on an expensive silver platter. What she didn’t intend was to wind up being bought by a man who could ruin everything and force her out of hiding.
The original story had me hooked from the start and this one was no different. In fact I felt like it sucked me in a little more than it did before. We get to see some of the history between these three guys early on as well as how they wind up at the auction to begin with. I love how the events that follow were modified to include the other two guys that were not there originally. It made the whole scene in the forest so much hotter! And considering who the third guy in the group is I’m very excited to see how that will play out going forward.
Of course we’re still left on a cliffhanger but that’s to be expected and if I’m being honest it’s nowhere near as maddening as the original one was. So for that I am happy with it lol. I don’t quite want to pull all my hair out waiting for the first book to drop like I was. 😂
I cannot wait to see what Delaney has in store for us and from this little peek at these men I have a feeling they are going to be sinfully drool worthy!
