The start of this book had me really gripped. It's told from three perspectives and I really enjoyed seeing Gilead from some perspectives other than a Handmaid. The character external to Gilead I found a bit tedious and less interesting than the others. The last quarter of the book became a different style of story which didn't grip me as much.
