It Starts with Us by Colleen Hoover

First of all, I am aware this book is just complete fan service to booktok and an absolute cash grab. But despite that I still enjoyed it. If you’re invested in Lily and Atlas and wondered what happened to them by then end of It Ends With Us then this book is for you. It takes off immediately from when the first book ended. My favorite parts of It Ends With Us were the flashbacks with Lily and Atlas their relationship was so sweet. Seeing them in the present both happy and successful was so nice to see after everything they’ve both been through. They’re finally on the same page and able to pursue the relationship they both longed to have as teens. Now as adults they’re in better circumstances, and can be a more significant part of each other’s lives. I really enjoyed the multiple POV especially Atlas because he’d usually go to get advice from his 12 year old therapist and I thought that was hilarious. Overall I just had fun with this book and I wasn’t expecting too much from it since I knew going into the book that it was basically a 300+ epilogue.
