Thanks so much to Adriana Locke for the advanced copy!
I think I have a new favorite family. The Carmichael’s took me completely by surprise- the interactions between the siblings and the dynamic between their parents made me laugh throughout this entire book. The pranking scenes between the various Carmichael boys were just the icing on the cake of this cute romance book.
Moss and Brooke start out as good friends, but when Brooke accidentally posts a “situationship-wanted” ad, the Carmichael boys and their mom decide this is the perfect opportunity to set Brooke up with Moss. Brooke and Moss go from being best friends, to deciding that they’re going to start up a fake relationship not only to show Brooke’s family that she’s happy and successful (her family SUCKS don’t even get me started) and also to use this as an opportunity to mess with the rest of the Carmichaels. Obviously, Brooke and Moss are meant to be- they’re open and vulnerable with each other, and Moss’s support of Brooke throughout the book is just such a wonderful thing to see in a romance book and exactly what I wanted. Adriana Locke continues to raise the bar with each of her books and I know that when I pick up one of her novels, I’m gonna enjoy every single page of it!
