I LOVED this book! I think it’s probably because I have an 11 year old daughter so I really relate to the mother/daughter relationship and how that changes as the child grows up. This is an easy and fast read and I love how the view point toggles between mother and daughter and you can see how their thoughts are sometimes aligned and they don’t know it or they are assuming the opposite of what the other is thinking. I also loved the fact that as light and fun of a story this is, there are also things that make you think...it definitely got me thinking about how I interact with my own daughter and the things I’d like to change and the things I’d like to keep!
