The first autumnal book is finished!
I love this book because it shows the importance of fighting for what you love and deserve. It’s about Willow, who will do anything to save their farm from bankruptcy.
What I like:
- Small town.
- Everyone knows everybody.
- supportive neighbors.
- Cozy autumn vibes.
- mentions pumpkin spice lattes and other seasonal drinks and pies.
- Pumpkins
- and a lot more.

But what almost turns me off is the lengthy discussion of just the preparations for the pumpkin patch's opening. I became somewhat bored. Just a bit! I still couldn't put it down.
Also, I'm not particularly invested in the romance subplot; I didn't feel the strong chemistry.
The book had a slow start, but when it picked up around 75%, I was so entertained that I didn't realize I was nearing the end. The book flows particularly well near the end. It's beautifully wrapped up!
A cozy, comforting, and warm-hug book to read during the fall; pair it with your perfectly blended pumpkin spice latte and expertly baked pumpkin pie.
