The Madness of Lord Westfall by Mia Marlowe

4.0

Really liking the mix of mystery, paranormal elements, and romance in this series so far. Westfall was an interesting hero to read about, with the experience of being imprisoned in Bedlam. I did find that the coincidences were almost a bit too much to be believable, but was able to ignore that for the most part. I am hoping that the next book bucks the trend of "H/h find love, get married, and promptly retire to the country to start making babies". Sadly the final chapters of this book soured me a bit on the rest of it, with the convenient resolving of Westfall's "gift" and the easy transition for him and Nora into the ruling of the viscountcy. Fingers crossed that Meg shows a little more gumption in her book!
