I really loved this book. It is clear the author literally watched you’ve got mail over and over again while writing this. Some scenes are almost mirrors of each other which I thought was kind of funny and a cool send up. I found the world building a little confusing but was interested in the world that was built. Some chapters had being absolutely sobbing towards the end. I loved so many of the characters so much as well.
In the beginning of the book there is some graphic talking about Mercy’s job as an undertaker and I almost quit reading the book bc it was BOTHERSOME. But, it was largely over by chapter 3 or 4 I think. Thank god.
It is basically a western you’ve got mail with a heavy fantastical afterlife element. Oh also kind of zombies.
