This book sucked me in from the start. There was great use of suspense at the end of every chapter and a lot of great red herrings. However, I felt like it kind of went off the rails and became unbelievable towards the end (especially with all of the reveals about Ricky, some of which were never fully answered). Kit was also a very annoying main character who did a lot of stupid (and not plausible) things.
Overall, the book was a solid murder mystery but the complexity felt forced.
