i cannot believe this guy wrote about a bunch of 11 year olds having and orgy and people just fucking let him??????
on a more serious note, Stephen King suffers from chronic 'can't write female characters' and while the start of the book was a solid 4/4.5 as it approached the ending things felt rushed (especially the cosmic horror that was as quickly discarded as it was introduced)
also seriously how did no one tell him 'hey man maybe don't write about children fucking in a sewer?' because I feel at least one person involved in the publishing of this book must've been like what the fuck
