The Dark Descent of Elizabeth Frankenstein by Kiersten White

Did not finish book. Stopped at 60%.

I really didn't like the book's take on Victor Frankenstein. It seemed like they made him a sociopath to make the protagonist seem stronger, and it really felt cheap. Victor Frankenstein has always read as a narcissistic character to me, and one of the most complex ever written at that. But here he felt cheap and wasted- a direction the rest of the story started to turn the further into this mess I got. Overall I am very unsatisfied with this book, even if I was thoroughly enjoying the beginning.
