Mel gave up on love after a painful divorce, but when a gorgeous woman walks into her bar with an offer that both scares and excites her, she decides to give lust a try. She determined to keep things casual, but once feelings and her girlfriend's wife get involved, all bets are off. This is 100% Mel's story, and I like how we get to see every aspect of her life as well as her romantic relationships. Bebe is a force and I immediately fell in love with her. Their chemistry is electric from jump and the banter is so much fun. Kade kind of confused me, which I think is intentional, and the shift from cordial to romantic seemed a little abrupt. I would have loved more showing than telling to get that same intense connection with them and Mel. That said, there is an aspect of Kade's characte  that feels like a scavenger hunt that I enjoyed. Once they explain certain things, I go back and see certain things I missed the first time. The communication in this is pretty stellar even with a miscommunication trope thrown in. (This is how it's done people!) TJ Alexander is quickly becoming one of my favorite romance authors.
