The Great Alone by Kristin Hannah

5.0

Emotions is the first thing that comes to mind.
This novel was a roller coaster of emotions.
Leni, Cora, Ernt, and the secondary characters were all well rounded.

This book was the first book I’ve read by KH and I really loved her style of writing. She’s great at making you feel what the characters are feeling; KH is great at making you feel like you’re there with the characters.

I can tell KH took her time with this story; the way she described every setting and the character development you see throughout the novel makes you appreciate the research behind it.

Sometimes I wanted to hug Leni, Cora, and a few others there were desperately looking for an answer while it was always omnipresent.

Totally recommend this novel!
Can’t wait to start The Nightingale and The Things We So For Love.
