I was so keen to read Beast and Grim's story, I was not disappointed! This book was amazing, the tension is next level - seriously shocked it was so slow burn but didn't leave me dissatisfied, how the hell did she do that? The age gap isn't huge but Grim is 17 here, so any gap at that age feels huge. Beast has a huge battle with himself here and that is what I think is at the heart of this boom. He is battling his honour, his commitment to his job and his role as a bodyguard. Every part of him is pushing him towards this young woman, but he is fighting himself and her pull the entire way. I loved pretty much everything about this book, the relationships, the crappy father, the fact that nothing goes as planned! Brilliant story, can't wait to read part two!
