James Potter and the Morrigan Web by G. Norman Lippert

5.0

Lippert does a beautiful job extending the magical world Rowling originally created. However, I believe that he brings a whole new life and light to the Potter series. Touching on subjects that hit home even for us in reality and making subtle corruption and evil the main antagonist puts his writing right up there with all of the greats. I am thrilled to continue reading his works, as well as appreciating the beauty he weaves into a story that was not originally his own (which I think is even harder than creating it himself!). The potential for this series is astounding.
