This is a classic fantasy with all the mystical creatures, monsters and humanoids. Not in chronological order, this book reads as a collection of short stories that fit together very well, as long as you are paying attention. I listened to the audiobook and enjoyed the narrator, mostly. I would have preferred slightly more difference in the tones of voices being portrayed, but understand there are many characters to make adjustments for. Overall, worth the listen.
I highly recommend for epic fantasy readers and those looking to escape into a new world.
