Wow... What a beautiful book!! Ann Napolitano's characters are vibrant and real and tenderly drawn, and she paints stunning, memorable, tactile pictures with her writing without drawing attention to her craft. I was riveted right up to the last word and then wanted to hug the book. I'm a fan! This is an emotionally resonant book, a story that takes you through tragic loss and grief toward hope and a new kind of beauty.
