A Baby of Her Own by Brenda Novak
4.0
There are elements of this book that may make it unsavory to some. I really enjoyed it because I could understand Delaney's motivation. I could also understand Conner's anger.
Of course, it's only natural that with the subject matter there were things both the hero and the heroine did that could drive a person batty. On one had I'd like to yell at characters in books to stop jumping to conclusions and/or talk to each other, but then we wouldn't have half the books to read that we do.
There's a wonderful scene where Delaney realizes that her best friend is the other side to the same coin as she is when it comes to their small town and its residence. It's a great moment of insight that I truly loved.
I really have enjoyed the majority of Brenda Novak's books. Unfortunately, I am finding that this particular series is not at my library or its affiliates so I don't know when I'll be able to read the next installment of this particular series.
