The Tea Dragon Festival by K. O'Neill

I will continue in the series and always recommend it, but I think this series lacks depth. I feel like it presents a lot of interesting ideas and I adore the art so much, but there’s just not a lot of story happening. The characters are charming but like the story itself they seem to lack dimension and therefore I don’t deeply connect to them. If you’re looking for a one-sitting cozy, light read filled with wonder this is my recommendation. It may sound like I am crapping on this book, but I just know how great it could be. If you take the art away from the story this would basically be a poem.
