Tbh, I wish I had DNFed. πŸ˜…

I loved the first book so much! That book was a whole vibe. This one made me so angry and frustrated and bored.

The majority of the book is just Fox β€œI’m just a ladies man, that’s all I’ll ever be. β€œ β€œI am gonna be better for her.” β€œI suck and everybody knows it.” β€œI am a good man for her.” Omg stfu. It was this on repeat, him hating himself due to his whore status, and then him wanting to be better and ignore the haters. It was annoying and overplayed.

And honestly, this had so much potential imo, because the way the relationship started was so freaking cute. But Fox made me want to punch something and throw the whole book away. πŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈ

If you can deal with characters who continuously go back and forth from self loathing to healing, then this book is decent. I just feel like the self loathing became too much and that is just my opinion.
