I really love the book, the narrator is perfect and the viewpoint of someone who is always a millimetre away from becoming the next sauron and knows it is really interesting. Good twist at the end.
The school is fantastically fleshed out as well. How everything works, why it's there, why it's so awful but still possibly better than the alternative... Fantastic.
