I related to Mallory's struggles a lot, brilliant book. I didn't give it 5 stars only because I felt Rider was a bit of a let down near the end.
I was a little frustrated with his character and felt he probably needed professional help, something Mallory got but he didn't even get a glimpse of. He definitely has some underlying trauma from his childhood and had never gotten a proper chance to deal with it. Apart from that, this book hit me very hard in respects to Mallory trying to accept her past etc.
However, even though this book has its faults and some people have massive issues with it, every time I think about this story it warms my heart.
Definitely would recommend.
