My newest read came to me through the February Blind Date with a Book section at my local library. I can never resist this type of blind date when the opportunity comes up.

While romance is not one of my favorite genres, it was a nice break from the heaviness & darkness of some of my recent thriller reads. It was a quick & easy read, with a lot of visual descriptors that I appreciated. I love the descriptions of the clothing & color and have always found saris to be an incredible sight to behold. In true romance fashion, a lot of the ending felt rushed to me- there was a lot of focus on the set up of the story, but then the conflicts, reveals & resolutions all came in rapid succession. I did also like how each chapter started off with an email from a client seeking break up advice. It was an easy read and I have no regrets - I'd even maybe watch the movie on the Hallmark channel, if one came out.
