A Midsummer Night's Dream by William Shakespeare

5.0

The first time I've read this play - and just after rewatching Dead Poets Society too, which made it rather more poignant than it might otherwise have been. Shakespeare is very tongue-in-cheek here, with his play-within-a-play, multiple dreamscapes and audiences, and his sly meta commentary. A lot to absorb, but worth the effort.
