The Good Daughter by Karin Slaughter

5.0

My Reread review! *First read in 2022, read again in 2024*

I was in a rut and decided that nothing else would suffice rather than reading a Karin Slaughter novel, narrated by Kathleen Early (name a better duo I'll wait).
While some people may think that the different POVs of the same scenario was repetitive I thought it was so interesting to see the perspectives, especially as the different truths came out. I thought the traumatic scenes were so well done. It fit well with the overall story line rather than having trauma in a book for the sake of trauma (looking at you romance).

Kathleen Early the audiobook narrator did a fantastic job of bringing the book to life.
