Hollow Hellion
by Jodie King
I don't understand how Jodie continues to do this.
Noir, the main character, is a deeply flawed woman who, due to how she was "raised," has trust issues. While "on the run" Noir ends up at Oddity Circus, where she meets Hell.
Hell, our imperfect perfect love interest. Dealing with a bastard of an uncle Hell is psychotic who decides on day one that he's obsessed with Noir. And so it starts.
Madame runs Oddity like a mother. She can tell quite quickly if this is the place for you. Calling people as she sees them Oddity is more than a place to work, it's a family of misfits. All in all I loved this book and can't wait for more.
