City of Heavenly Fire
by Cassandra Clare
-Didn't hate it, didn't love it but I think this is the best book in the series. The other books were so involved in the will they or won't they of Jace and Clary that finally having that resolved and removed from the plot line made this book bearable to get through.
-I still think Jace is SO BLAH—I couldn't care less about him and Clary.
-I can see myself continuing with the other books in this world because I do want to follow Emma and Julian; I loved their relationship.
-Simon losing his memories really hurt—it was the first and only time I really felt something while reading this series. I can see how Cassandra Clare's books might improve and I hope they do! This series was super cheesy/stereotypical YA but I did love all the different creatures and the wide range of characters.
-That epilogue really dragged.
