a really strong debut and an interesting subject choice as well as presentation with the two narrators chosen being rather obscure.

i do wish the book had been slightly harsher with its ending but i suppose for any other readers aware of the history taking place it takes on a certain bitterness as this idyllic garden that our protagonist leaves us in will not last much longer.
